View in Browser <[link removed]> Dr. Brian Williams Welcome Thanks for joining our movement to create justice John — Thank you for joining me on this journey to create a safer, healthier future for all. Your support is invaluable as we fight for health justice and an end to gun violence. I'm excited to share my experiences with you—from the frontlines of trauma surgery to my campaign for Congress and the publication of my book, The Bodies Keep Coming: Dispatches from a Black Trauma Surgeon On Racism, Violence, And How We Heal <[link removed]> . <[link removed]> My experience as a trauma surgeon, witnessing the daily devastation of gun violence, compelled me to run for Congress. Especially, the endemic violence taking the lives of young Black men—a reality that seemed minimized in the national debate about saving lives. Although I did not win my election, it was still a success—providing a national platform to share my frontline experiences and advocate for systemic change <[link removed]> . <[link removed]> I spoke with Gayle King on CBS Mornings about my campaign for Congress and The Bodies Keep Coming. I am deeply grateful for the support I received and remain dedicated to amplifying the voices of those most impacted by gun violence, and working toward meaningful policy reform. I wrote The Bodies Keep Coming <[link removed]> to provide an unflinching look at how gun violence and health disparities intersect in America, sharing the devastating impact of preventable firearm injuries and the root causes of health inequity. This book is not only a memoir, but also a call to action, urging us to confront these systemic issues, support impacted communities, and strive for a more just and equitable healthcare system. As I continue my national book tour, I hope you'll join me in sharing these stories and advocating for change. <[link removed]> ORDER A SIGNED COPY OF THE BODIES KEEP COMING <[link removed]> What’s next?
