This morning, we sent an email trying to explain why a well-timed donation to the DNC was the best way for someone to contribute to and make a difference in this election.

We talked about the work we're doing to reach the relatively small number of voters in the relatively small number of states and races that will determine control of the White House, House, and Senate.

Maybe you missed it. Maybe it wasn't compelling enough. So we hope you'll give us a second to try again with a new approach -- because, truly, Kamala Harris, Tim Walz, and Democrats everywhere need the DNC to have the resources to fund our plans to win this November.

Let's start with what we're asking for.

Donate because the DNC is the organization best positioned to move resources where they are needed, when they are needed most to help Democrats win.

Donate because the DNC is doing the hard work of talking directly to the persuadable voters and infrequent voters we need to reach and turnout in order to win.

Donate because the most important FEC fundraising deadline of the campaign is coming up in a few days and when it ends we've got some election-deciding budget decisions to make.

We can't fund a winning program without lots and lots of donations. So we're asking:

Can you make a donation to the Democratic National Committee today? Do it before our FEC fundraising deadline ends and we make some election-deciding spending decisions.
