This is a big day: We just posted the preview version of our 2024 Humane Scorecard!

Take a look and see where your federal legislators stand on a range of key animal protection issues from cracking down on violators of the Animal Welfare Act to farm animal welfare to ending horse soring and more. ([link removed])

The scorecard preview is online, easily searchable and shareable, so we hope you’ll take a look at your legislators’ scores. If their scores are not up to par, please encourage them to improve it before the end of the year. If they’re already top of the class, thank them for being a champion for animals. And with Election Day just a few weeks away and early voting already starting in some states, we hope you use this tool to gauge whether your legislators have stood up for animals on Capitol Hill and are deserving of your support at the ballot box.

Whether your legislators have a score of zero, 100+, or somewhere in between, they need to know that you care about their positions on animal protection policy and are paying attention to their performance on animal issues. Your efforts to engage them meaningfully on these subjects will produce even greater returns for animal protection in the future.
