Team,

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, Governor Cuomo signed two critically important executive orders to ensure all New Yorkers are able to vote safely on Tuesday, June 23.

First, every New Yorker is now able to vote absentee in our June 23rd primary election – even if you usually do not meet the requirements for voting absentee.

Second, the New York State Board of Elections will automatically mail every registered New York voter a postage-paid application for an absentee ballot.

To ensure you receive an absentee ballot, follow these steps:

Make sure you are registered to vote at your current address. Confirm your voter registration status online or call 1-866-VOTE-NYC (1-866-868-3692).

Request your ballot today. Absentee ballots will be mailed to all registered voters on or before May 8th.

Once you receive your absentee ballot application, fill out your application in blue or black ink, and return the completed application using the postage-paid envelope.

You should receive your ballot no less than 32 days before the election. Once it’s filled out, you must mail back your ballot by the day before Election Day (Monday, June 22nd). For your ballot to count, the Board of Elections must receive it no later than 7 days after the election on June 23rd.

Please note that in order to receive a ballot, you must fill out and return the absentee ballot application. Ballots will not be automatically mailed if an application is not returned.

Please forward this email to friends and family. We all need to work together to ensure every voter can take part in the democratic process without putting their health at risk.
