We’ll be candid. This is a fundraising email. It’s probably not the only one in your inbox, and we really are sorry to add to the clutter. But we figure the least we can do is get straight to the point.

Here are three things we need you to know about our race:

1) Polling shows it’s a statistical tie (Andrea is up just two points) but tons of voters are still making up their mind — more than enough to determine the outcome.

2) We have an ad on air making the case for how Andrea will lower costs for hardworking families. We view getting this message out as crucial to our chances of victory — but we need more resources to keep it on air.

3) The outcome of this race will determine which party wins House control, which will, in turn, determine whether we can pass legislation restoring abortion rights. Andrea has been clear: she will always, always stand in support of our reproductive freedom. Her opponent wants to ban abortion.
