Friend --
Fantastic news on our fight to make crime illegal again – 71% of voters, including nearly two-thirds of Democrats, support Prop 36 <[link removed]>, theHomelessness, Drug Addiction, and Theft Reduction Act, according to a new poll by the Public Policy Institute of California.
But Newsom, completely disconnected from reality, is shocked that Californians are rejecting his failed, soft-on-crime policies. He’s spent all year fighting Prop 36 <[link removed]>, even attempting to cancel the election and undermine our democracy. After relentless opposition, brutal media hits, and overwhelming outrage from Californians, Newsom had no choice <[link removed]> but to back down and allow the measure to be on the November ballot.
When confronted with the recent poll results, Newsom’s response speaks volumes: “I was wondering what state I was living in.” That’s how out of touch he is! The fact that he can’t even recognize the frustration of Californians says it all.
While the poll numbers are promising, we can’t rest yet. Newsom and his corrupt Democrat machine will stop at nothing to defeat this critical measure.
Help us make crime illegal again and pass Prop 36. <[link removed]>
As an early endorser of Prop 36, I’m not surprised at all by the overwhelming majority of Californians who want change. People feel unsafe in their homes and latest FBI data <[link removed]> makes it clear why: while violent crime dropped almost 6% nationally, it increased nearly 4% in California.
Meanwhile, Newsom, distracted by his national ambitions, completely ignores the dangers of California and claims victory on the national crime rate. I quickly reminded him of our state's reality.

It's easy for Newsom to feel safe when he’s protected by a taxpayer-funded security detail and is constantly jet-setting to other safer states for political stunts.
Californians of all political stripes are fed up with the chaos, crime, and lawlessness brought on by dangerous Democrat soft-on-crime policies. This November, we have a real chance to fix California by passing Prop 36 and getting more Republicans elected who are ready to fight to make a difference.
While we’ve already defeated the Democrats by getting Prop 36 on the ballot, the real fight is just beginning. California desperately needs this measure to pass to rein in crime and hold criminals accountable.
The November election is right around the corner and we know the Democrats are plotting an anti-democracy crusade to undermine our voices. We need your help to get Prop 36 across the finish line. <[link removed]> Can you chip in $5 <[link removed]> to help us make crime illegal again and end Democrats’ anti-democratic, corrupt rule?
Help us fix California and pass Prop 36. <[link removed]>
