John, take a look at these photos. ⬆️ These are just a few snapshots of the thousands of students who took action last Friday in Georgia to demand gun safety legislation.
We won't ever forget Apalachee High School, or anyone who's died from gun violence, at school, at home, or in our neighborhoods. That’s why we co-hosted a rally last week with the Georgia Youth Justice Coalition and Change for Chee. And we'll keep fighting until no young person has to ever run from bullets.
When will enough be enough? The school year just started and we’re already seeing the cycle of deadly school shootings. Kids and parents should NEVER have to worry that walking into school will be the last time they see each other.
Enough thoughts and prayers. We deserve action. We deserve change. And we won’t rest until we get it.
Schools should be safe spaces to learn, grow, and be a kid. The only way that we can have that is by achieving a future free from gun violence.
