Don't get me wrong, friend. My wife, Connie, is my best friend. But our rescue dogs, Franklin and Walter, are tied for a close second, and in honor of National Dog Week, I want to give them a quick shoutout.

Franklin, on the left, is named for President Franklin D. Roosevelt, and Walter, on the right, is named after former United Auto Workers Union President Walter Reuther – two hardworking leaders who fought tirelessly for the Dignity of Work.

Like their namesakes, Franklin and Walter are a couple of hardworking, principled pups. From boosting morale at campaign headquarters, to greeting voters with me across the state, they're ready to give their all to this campaign.

But we need you to do the same, friend. We're going to get out of this race what we put into it – and it's coming down to the wire.

Experts say Ohio will decide Senate control, and with polls showing me statistically tied with our MAGA opponent, it could all come down to a handful of votes.
