3️⃣ But that's not the only issue she's been pushing the needle on – Lois has spent years fighting to protect crucial benefits for seniors, like Medicare and Social Security, and to prioritize passing common-sense gun safety laws.

4️⃣ She's never been afraid to call out far-right extremists like her own constituent, Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis for putting their political agendas ahead of the needs of our people.

5️⃣ People and organizations across the district – including the Democratic Environmental Caucus of Florida, the National Organization for Women, and the Planned Parenthood Action Fund – recognize all the work Lois has done to make South Florida a place we can all be proud to call home.

We want to avoid taking up too much of your time, so here's the bottom line: we're heavily relying on support from folks like you to tell voters about Lois' people-focused mission to continue to give us a dependable voice in Congress.

Congresswoman Lois Frankel has worked for positive change since her early days as a student protester in the 1960s. She has been a community and civic leader, state legislator, mayor and now is privileged to serve as a Member of Congress in the US House of Representatives, and refers to herself as a working grandmother.

She has always been and continues to be a loud voice and leading force to improve the lives of children and families as well as seniors and veterans. She is a fierce advocate for racial justice, human rights and women’s reproductive freedom, fights she will never abandon and urges everyone to participate in today. Lois is Co-Chair of the Democratic Women’s Caucus.

Lois is the proud mother to her son Ben who is a United States Marine war veteran, and Lolo to her grandsons. She is also an avid abstract painter who greatly appreciates the arts.
