In Wisconsin, an outdated law from 1849 continues to threaten bodily autonomy. A court ruled that abortion care should be available despite the trigger law, but full reproductive healthcare is now only available in 3 counties – and OB/GYNs continue to leave the state, creating healthcare deserts across Wisconsin.

Sarah’s opponent does not support a woman’s right to make her own reproductive healthcare decisions. He has voted in favor of abortion bans and even supported a bill requiring that "Abortion Reversal Drugs" be made available. As Sarah points out, these drugs are not scientifically proven and are not endorsed by leading organizations such as the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
