Tomorrow, LGBTQ Victory Institute will be participating in Giving Tuesday NOW, a special day of giving dedicated to assisting organizations impacted by COVID-19. Victory Institute is certainly one of those organizations, but we have adapted quickly to ensure LGBTQ people continue to have the tools to run for office. To honor Giving Tuesday, a generous activist (who wishes to remain anonymous), has stepped up and pledged to match every donation made before midnight PT tomorrow. As you've probably noticed, we've been working hard to connect you with our current LGBTQ leaders regardless of the pandemic, and we're still working overtime to train the next generation of LGBTQ leaders. Our Candidate & Campaign Trainings and International trainings are going virtual. We've hosted Facebook Lives with our only two LGBTQ Attorneys General Maura Healey and Dana Nessel, Virginia Delegate Danica Roem, and a huge slate of our past program participants, to speak about the need for LGBTQ leadership right now.
While we're committed to continuing this essential work, the donations we receive on Giving Tuesday will set the bar for the rest of year. And don't forget - any donation given before midnight PT on Tuesday will be matched! Donate today to support our future leaders.
