Friends,
As there are 6 weeks left to Election Day, we are reminded of the incredible privilege and responsibility we have as citizens in a democracy. As Christians, voting goes beyond our civic duty—it's an opportunity to live out the principles of stewardship that God has entrusted to us.
In Matthew 25:14-30, Jesus shares the parable of the talents, reminding us that we are stewards of the resources, influence, and opportunities given to us. Voting is one way we can responsibly steward the influence we have in shaping the society we live in.
By participating in elections, we contribute to decisions that affect our communities, our nation, and ultimately, the common good. As Christians, we are called to promote justice, peace, and the flourishing of all people (Micah 6:8).
Governing authorities are established by God (Romans 13:1), and it’s our duty to ensure we choose leaders who reflect godly principles of justice, righteousness and care for the marginalized.
Your vote is not just a political statement—it's a reflection of your faith and values. Every election, whether local or national, offers us the opportunity to elect leaders who will pursue policies that align with biblical teachings.
If you or someone you know hasn’t registered to vote yet, there’s still time! Don’t miss this opportunity to make your voice heard and fulfill your responsibility as a Christian steward.
