John, we know you must be receiving dozens of emails warning you about the stakes in this election, so we wanted to share some good news: Our voter registration partners have reported a record number of new voter registrations recently, particularly among young voters.
I’ll be honest – I’m feeling nervous about November’s election. This will be our first presidential election since the January 6th attack on our democracy. And since then, extremist state legislatures have introduced and passed dozens of anti-voter laws nationwide.
For many, especially first-time voters, these new laws are discouraging by design, likely causing thousands of voters to go home without casting their ballots.
John, that’s a violation of our most fundamental right: the right to vote.
That’s where our volunteers – and you – come in: We train thousands of Election Protection volunteers to greet voters heading to the polls during early voting and on Election Day – ready to help voters overcome any obstacles that anti-voter politicians or election deniers throw at them.
When I think about the young people who will cast their first-ever votes this year, I’m filled with a sense of duty to ensure they have a positive experience – so they keep coming back to the polls in 2026, 2028, and beyond.
But that won’t happen if we don’t act. We must immediately scale up our voter protection operation big-time for November – when we’ll be going against the full forces of voter suppression across the country.
And that's why we need your help: it costs $50 to recruit, train, equip, and place each Election Protection volunteer. If you chip in $50 today your donation will help us send one additional volunteer into the field to make a real, measurable impact on hundreds of voters.
Here’s the simple truth: by sponsoring a volunteer right now, you’ll make the difference between someone becoming a voter for life – or going home disappointed. Will you chip in $50 – or anything you can – today? >>
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
John, millions of Americans will be casting their ballots in November, many for the first time. The stakes are too high to sit on the sidelines – the right to vote is sacred and we’re committed to doing whatever it takes to protect it.
Thank you for joining this fight,
