GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement celebrated on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. It’s been a day of overwhelming generosity for Love146. As a response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19, The GivingTuesday community has called for a global day of unity to take place on May 5, 2020.

When coronavirus struck, it quickly became apparent that for many of the survivors in our care, getting basic needs met was going to be a challenge and this puts children at risk of being trafficked again.
During this critical time, your donations are meeting survivors’ very practical needs: You’ve paid rent. You’ve bought groceries. You’ve sent hygiene products. You’ve ensured survivors have the school supplies needed to keep persevering in their education. In the Philippines, you’ve ensured survivors have all their needs met in our safehome, sheltering in safety. And you’ve ensured support goes beyond practical needs, providing continued care and connection for survivors.

Founded in 2002, Love146 is an international human rights organization working to end the trafficking and exploitation of children through survivor care and prevention. Our programs in the US, the UK, the Philippines, and parts of Africa have reached over 55,000 children.
