So far in my 75-stop tour of Florida, I have to admit, friend: The college stops have been some of my favorites.
It's always inspiring to connect with young voters and future leaders. But running a challenger campaign on the road isn't always easy, so it's especially encouraging to know that I've won the cool kids' support.
I'll explain why in a moment — but if you're short on time, and I've earned your support too, will you please chip in to help me flip Florida blue?

See, I didn't earn their support with false promises, or even flashy TikToks — I'm filling lecture halls and tailgates because my people-first message aligns with their priorities.
They care about reproductive rights: Young women want the right to choose what they do with their own bodies. Young men don’t want to worry about their partners’ health. And they all want to protect access to contraception options and the extra level of safety it provides.
They care about strengthening gun control: College is stressful enough as it is. The last thing students need to worry about is finding the nearest exit in case a shooter enters the dining hall or the classroom.
They care about the affordability crisis: Working families across Florida are already struggling to make ends meet — and for students looking ahead to repaying thousands in student loans after graduation, while home ownership already seems out of reach and rents are on the rise, something's got to give.
They care about education: Florida's students have stood on the frontlines of the GOP's extremist crackdowns on the freedom to speak, learn, and live freely. They're sick of the book bans, the fear-mongering, the propaganda, and the division — and they're not afraid to confront ugly truths.
They care about the climate: Sea levels are rising, and parts of our state are sinking. As our students work hard to carve a path to a brighter future, they're grappling with the fear that unless we act now, there might not even be a liveable future to look forward to here in Florida.
TL;DR: Florida's young voters aren't so different from any other generation. They care about everyone's future — and their idealism, courage, and energy inspire me every day to keep up the fight for Florida, even when the going gets tough.
But, friend, I'm counting on help from grassroots supporters of all ages to withstand Rick Scott's out-of-touch, multimillion-dollar attacks all the way to November.
So before I get back on the road, I have to ask: Will you please rush $5, $25, or anything you can spare to help me build a future that voters from 20 to 120 can look forward to by flipping Florida blue?
