As you can imagine, sending these emails isn’t my favorite part of the job, and I’m sure you’d prefer not to have as many requests come your way either. Unfortunately, we know that we can’t win this race if we don’t raise the resources to remain competitive with Mark Robinson and the national GOP forces pouring millions into his campaign.

Given last week's news, it’s more important than ever that we win this race and defend North Carolina’s governorship from a self-proclaimed “Nazi.” It’s beyond outrageous.

This is a tight race and a single misstep could set us back. We HAVE to stay on track financially, especially now. September is our final end-of-quarter month before Election Day, and we only have six weeks left to bring folks who are still undecided onto our side.
