In fact, it’s never been easier to be counted. The census questionnaire takes less than 10 minutes to do and you can fill it out online, by phone or by mail – all while adhering to social distancing guidance and staying safe at home as we continue to weather the COVID-19 crisis.

More than half of all households in Virginia have responded, and if you haven’t done so, there’s no better time to do so than right now!

As you may know, the data collected from the census is used to make important decisions about where in the country to distribute federal dollars. This means that by filling out your questionnaire, you can help direct more funding to schools, clinics, fire stations, and public services in your very own community. Best of all – your personal information is kept completely safe and private. The information you provide will never be shared with any government or law enforcement agency.
