I've been voting for over 40 years, and my first vote was for Ronald Reagan. I've never voted for a Democrat in my life. But the stakes in this election are unlike anything we've ever faced before.

Donald Trump represents a challenge and a threat to the very foundation of our republic. We see it every day. This is someone who was willing to use violence to seize power after losing an election. He cannot be trusted with power ever again.

I know there are Republicans out there who are saying they won't vote for Trump - they'll just write someone in.

Let me be clear: This time, that is not enough. We must do everything possible to ensure that Donald Trump is not re-elected--and that means casting your vote for Vice President Kamala Harris.

The future of our democracy is on the line, and this is not about policy differences. It's about doing what's right for our country. I have had serious disagreements with Vice President Harris on many issues, but I know that protecting our Constitution and preserving our republic must come first.
