MEDIA ADVISORY: Gov. Justice to host ribbon-cutting ceremony for Scott Miller Hill Bypass, unveil Bob Ashley Bridge sign tomorrow at 2:30 p.m.

WHO: Gov. Jim Justice, Transportation Secretary Jimmy Wriston, Members of former West Virginia Delegate Bob Ashley’s family, Spencer Mayor Terry Williams, Roane County Commission President Randy Whited, other state and local officials.
WHAT: Gov. Jim Justice will join officials from the West Virginia Department of Transportation for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of the 4.3-mile Scott Miller Hill Bypass on US 33.
The bypass, which runs from Tuckers Run to Middle Fork, will help trucks and other vehicles avoid several hazardous curves along the highway. This project is part of Gov. Justice’s $2.8 billion Roads to Prosperity initiative.
During the event, Gov. Justice will also unveil a new sign dedicating the bridge portion of the bypass as the Robert "Bob" Ashley Bridge.

The event will take place 5.7 miles west of Spencer on US 33.
