Howdy,
I hope everyone had a great week! Thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope this week's newsletter gives you an update on our party's efforts and provides insight into how Texas manages its election system.
This past weekend, was our North Texas Day of Action in Tarrant and Collin County alongside Victory Chair Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne and HD 70 Candidate Steve Kinard. It was awesome to see so many patriots in North Texas gearing up for the home stretch to Election Day.

Afterwards, I traveled to Fort Bend County to assist with Andy Myers' campaign. Winning this seat is crucial. Both Fort Bend and Harris County have numerous races we are focused on. Our goal in the coming election cycles is to flip Harris County back to red—and we know it’s possible!
South Texas is a key focus for the Republican Party of Texas. We're seeing tremendous support from people who have traditionally voted Democrat. Many are shifting to our side, and they're bringing their family and friends along with them.

Election Integrity
Election integrity continues to be the top priority of the Republican Party of Texas. By knowing more about how the voting systems work, I’m hoping we can all keep a lookout for any fraudulent voting activities this election cycle. And remember if you do catch anything suspicious please file an election complaint here.

Election Voting Systems
Our team is meeting regularly with election stakeholders in anticipation of the 2024 general election. On Monday, our team participated in additional discussion with the Texas Secretary of State’s Election Division on the voting system issue in Montgomery County, as reported by local media.
Since our call last week with the Texas Secretary of State’s Office, they received additional information on the issue. In evaluating and approving voting systems in Texas, the Texas Secretary of State reviews and approves all software updates to voting systems. Said differently, a county is forbidden from using any software update that has not been approved by state and federal election authorities. If the software update is finally approved by state (SOS) and federal election authorities, it may be used. In Texas, a person commits a class A misdemeanor if they execute a contract “to sell, lease, or otherwise provide a voting system or voting system equipment that the person knows has not been approved.” Texas Election Code section 122.031(c).
“Limited Term” Driver Licenses
In Texas, a temporary visitor who meets certain requirements may be issued a driver license or identification card with “Limited Term” printed on it. The driver license or identification card will expire when the period of lawful presence expires.
According to the Texas Secretary of State’s Office, use of a “Limited Term” license or card is not enough to force a voter to vote a provisional ballot because an individual may subsequently qualify to vote. An election worker can report the use of a “Limited Term” license to state and local election authorities and law enforcement.
Trump Signs
If you would like a Trump/Vance yard sign, we have been distributing them across Texas with the help of our County GOPs. Please contact your County Chair here if you would like one. Lastly, please double check that you are registered at your current address to vote. And make sure your family, church community, and neighbors are registered too!
