Dear Health Advocates, We have some exciting events upcoming.
This week, Families USA invites Alabama health advocates and people interested in improving diabetes care to join us for a webinar this Thursday, September 26 at 2PM. We will discuss the burden of diabetes across the state, get insights from folks on-the-ground who have expertise in diabetes management, and learn how access to continuous glucose monitors (CGM) will help improve the lives of Alabamians living with diabetes. In particular, we’ll focus on the importance of expanding Medicaid coverage of CGMs for pregnant people and children. Please register here or at the link below! And please share this invitation with your networks!
In other news, registration is now OPEN for our 30th Annual Health Action Conference! HAC 2025 will be held in person this year at the Capital Hilton in Washington, DC on January 23-24! Please follow this link to register and secure your spot at HAC 2025! You can find more on all of this below, along with this week’s new opportunities and resources: |
