In a moment, I’m going to ask if you can pitch in anything you can to help me keep Virginia blue [link removed], but before I do, I want to explain something.

My job in this election – one where I’m not on the ballot – is to steadfastly support my fellow Democrats. Whether it’s Tim Kaine here in the Commonwealth, Sherrod Brown in Ohio, Jon Tester in Montana, or Kamala Harris, I have a presence in each and every race.

So I’m sure you can imagine my concern when I saw the news that a recent poll from the University of Mary Washington has Donald Trump and Kamala Harris in a dead heat in Virginia: Harris 47%, Trump 46%.

Honestly, I wish I could say I wasn’t worried. But I am. This is a busy job, and that’s why I’m asking for your help:
