All campaigns submit fundraising numbers to the Federal Election Commission — but the numbers go public at the end of each quarter – and the next filing deadline is on September 30th, our most consequential one yet.

Everyone is watching to see what numbers we finish the quarter with, and they’ll use it to gauge our strength. If our numbers appear weak, we run the risk of being attacked and our opponents thinking my seat is vulnerable.
