Not only do we have our final quarterly FEC fundraising deadline coming up in a few days, but we're at the point of the campaign where at the end of every week we have to decide how much money we can afford to wire out for ads.

Here's how this works:

At the start of every week, we have a spending plan we'd love to run in order to reach ALL the voters we need to reach to maximize our chance of winning.

It would take an extraordinary amount of donations to reach that plan.

If we could reach that mark, we'd almost surely win this race.

But at the end of every week, we allocate every dollar we can toward that plan. Then we do it again.

It's why we have to keep asking -- because we're at the point in the race where the majority of our donations come in response to emails like this.

So with our weekly spending deadline and our final quarterly FEC deadline coming up fast, we're asking you to contribute whatever you can afford directly to Elissa Slotkin's campaign for Senate in Michigan.
