As you know, I’ve been working hard to combat the spread of misinformation leading up to the 2024 election. Here’s what’s been happening:
- At a rally in St. Cloud, former President Trump claimed he would only lose Minnesota "if they cheat."
- Donald Trump recently issued a warning that he would attempt to imprison anyone involved in “unscrupulous behavior” or who “cheated” during the 2024 election results.
- I recently joined forces with Secretaries of State from across the country to call on X’s owner, Elon Musk, to correct the dangerous misinformation being spread on his platform - and we won.
The last end-of-quarter fundraising deadline before the election is September 30th and we need to raise another $23,000 before then to ensure we have the resources to fight disinformation in the last weeks of this election.
