Dear Supporter,

I’m writing with some good news: Thanks to your advocacy, we helped get 59 Members of Congress to send a letter urging the Trump administration to restart US humanitarian assistance to Palestinians, including to UNRWA.

Congresswoman Debbie Dingell (D-MI) joined our Online Advocacy Gala a couple of weeks ago and announced she was working on a letter to the US Ambassador to the UN Kelly Craft to restart US aid. Since then, AMP supporters have been furiously working to get Members of Congress to sign onto the letter. Our efforts have paid off.

Click here to find out if your Representative signed the letter. If they did, we’ll help you send a thank-you note. If they didn’t, you can express your disappointment with their decision.

This is amazing progress. During an extremely busy and difficult time for Congress during COVID-19, Palestine is still on its agenda. This is because AMP supporters like you have made it a clear priority.

We know that the Palestinian people need our support now more than ever as they weather the challenges of Israeli oppression and the global pandemic. Re-funding US assistance is just one way we can provide that much-needed support.

Members of Congress care what their constituents think. It matters that we let them know that we support them if they signed this letter, and we are disappointed if they didn’t. Please take a minute to send them a message now.

59 signatures during a pandemic is amazing progress. Let’s keep it up!

In solidarity,
Raed Jarrar
