** NEW STOP THE BLEED® Club Program 2.0
------------------------------------------------------------

** to Empower Students with Life-Saving Skills
------------------------------------------------------------

The Stop The Bleed Coalition has just revamped its highly successful

STOP THE BLEED® Club program to better meet the needs of today’s students. The program fosters leadership and preparedness within schools, allows students to organize STOP THE BLEED® trainings for their communities, and provides them with free tools and resources to spread the word about the campaign.

“ It’s been clear for several years that students, particularly high school and college students, have a keen interest in STOP THE BLEED®. We’ve wanted to help them harness that energy by providing resources that would enable them to increase awareness of STOP THE BLEED® within their school communities and enable them to organize STOP THE BLEED® trainings.”

- Stop The Bleed Coalition Team

** What’s New with STOP THE BLEED® Clubs:
------------------------------------------------------------
* Student-Led Initiatives: Students can now work with local Instructors to organize STOP THE BLEED® trainings and lead their own community wide campaigns, encouraging classmates and community members to learn life-saving bleeding control skills.
* Expanded Resources: Enhanced training materials, digital toolkits, and virtual support to ensure clubs are successful no matter where they are based.
* New Leadership Opportunities: STOP THE BLEED® clubs offer students opportunities to learn leadership skills and receive recognition from national safety organizations, further building their college and career portfolios.
* Tailored for Schools: The program is adaptable for middle schools, high schools, and colleges, making it a valuable asset for schools committed to student safety and community health.

There’s no cost to apply to the Club Program and no cost to gain access to all of the resources we’ve developed.

STOP THE BLEED® skills are necessary for the life threatening bleeding emergencies that a student could face at any moment, many of which are accidental or unintended, such as a car accident on school grounds or a sports injury.

Uncontrolled bleeding is the leading cause of

preventable death from trauma.

It only takes an average of 3-5 minutes for a person to bleed out, yet it takes an average of 7-10 minutes for first responders to arrive on the scene.

This means it is crucial to make sure people are prepared to step in and save a life if they encounter a life-threatening bleed.

In honor of National Preparedness Month, let’s make sure our students and schools are prepared to STOP THE BLEED®.

“Talking about bad things that could happen like a disaster or emergency isn’t always easy. We may think we’re protecting the people we love by avoiding these conversations, but they are important to start taking steps to get ready and stay safe.” (Ready.gov)

This month, we encourage you to have a conversation with your friends, family, or members of your community about preparedness.

Specifically, are you and your loved ones STOP THE BLEED® trained?

After a conversation, it’s important to take action!

Get STOP THE BLEED® trained in you haven’t yet.

Spread the word about STOP THE BLEED® and make sure your community is ready.

STOP THE BLEED® Equipment ([link removed])

We only offer military grade Department of Defense approved STOP THE BLEED® Kits.

Why?

In the event of a bleeding emergency, you want to know that you have equipment that will work. There is cheaper equipment in the marketplace, but if you want to have confidence that the equipment you purchase will work when someone’s life is at stake, make sure it carries the STOP THE BLEED® mark. If it doesn’t say STOP THE BLEED®, it might not work when the time comes.
