This Hunger Action Month, help us continue making a major impact in the fight against hunger in America. For more than 40 years, Hunger Free America has worked to enact the policies and programs needed to end domestic hunger and ensure that all Americans have sufficient access to nutritious food.
Over the past 18 months we have helped thousands of families access the resources they need through our direct service work, in addition to the more than 25,000 calls we received to the Hunger Hotline, which HFA operates on behalf of USDA.
Our Strategic Volunteerism program has enabled Americans of all ages and backgrounds to make an enormous difference in the fight against hunger. We’ve pioneered ways to harness the advanced skills of professionals to carry out high-impact volunteer projects with anti-hunger groups nationwide.
