Recently,?coastal elites showed how out-of-touch they are with working Americans?when they demonized me for sharing what I'm hearing from Hoosiers across Indiana:
- Hoosiers are worried about those who are most vulnerable to the health risks of coronavirus, but they're also?worried about the unprecedented economic damage being caused by our response to those health risks
- Hoosiers are grateful for the work our healthcare workers have done to contain the virus and care for their loved ones, but they?want to get back to work themselves.
- Hoosiers don't want more government checks;?they?want to begin earning their own paychecks again.
These aren't radical ideas; they are American?ideals!

Meanwhile, leftists are cheering on our economic demise, even using Americans losing their jobs as an excuse to push their radical?Green New Deal.??They're demanding that we stay out of work, out of school, and out of church until there is not one case of coronavirus threatening the health of a single American.
They have no regard for what Americans are losing in the meantime. While Hoosiers worry about how to feed their families and educate their children, while they wonder if they'll ever be able to re-open the doors to the small business they spent their life's savings to build,?one "journalist" at?Salon?mourns "a trip to?Ireland?or the summer production of 'As You Like It.'"?
