I’m in New York at the sidelines of the UN General Assembly (UNGA), and I wanted to share results from our just-released opinion survey in a full-page ad in today’s Wall Street Journal.

Results from this new nationwide survey find that the vast majority of American voters are very concerned about global instability and believe the United States should lead on the world stage. As President Biden takes the UN stage today, check out these results:

• More than 8-in-10 voters say the U.S. should play a leading or major role on the global stage.
  
• Nearly 9-in-10 are concerned about rivals—like Russia, China, and Iran—creating instability around the world and disrupting the economy.
  
• More than 8-in-10 say U.S. should invest in diplomacy and global development alongside a strong defense.
  
• More than 7-in-10 believe the U.S needs to be engaged in Africa, Asia, and Latin America to advance our own economic interests.
