As we kick off a new month, I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for your support.
When we launched this campaign, I knew I wanted it to be powered by people — and that’s exactly what has happened.
Thanks to you, April was a groundbreaking month for us. Following the news that we outraised Tillis 2:1 last quarter, we passed another milestone:
Our campaign has received more than 100,000 individual donations since we launched this journey together.
This was no small feat, and to be able to say we did it without taking a single contribution from corporate PACs means the world to me.
Our momentum is only made possible by folks like you, who know that North Carolina deserves new leadership in the U.S. Senate. Time and again, Thom Tillis has shown us that he will side with his party’s bosses and corporate special interests over what’s right for our state, even in the midst of a pandemic. Enough is enough.
During this public health crisis, the way our campaign operates looks much different than we expected. I may be spending less time out on the road and a lot more time on the phone or connecting with folks virtually — but please know that I am still determined to hear from people across our state as we work together to reclaim North Carolina’s story.
If this campaign is about one thing, it’s about giving a voice to every North Carolinian.
