| Dear John: In March, PFLAG National made the historic decision to temporarily suspend all in-person support group meetings for the first time in our nearly 50-year history. But not being in the same physical space doesn’t mean PFLAGers aren’t supporting their communities. As of this past week, we’re happy to report that PFLAG Connects—the system that helps bring PFLAG chapters online to provide virtual support—surpassed the 100-chapter mark! If you’re looking for support in your community, check in with your local chapter to see if virtual help is available. Also, if you missed our past Something to Talk About Live broadcasts, you can watch them now on Facebook or YouTube. | | | | Support Join us Sunday, May 10th at 2PM ET/11AM PT, for the PFLAG Virtual Mother's Day Brunch This Mother’s Day, join PFLAG National for an uplifting celebration of motherly love for the LGBTQ+ community! We’d planned on having author Lesléa Newman with us last week, but due to technical issues, she wasn’t able to join us. So this week, we'll be talking in-depth with Lesléa about writing inclusively, experiencing protest, and looking at the shape of youth literature. You can watch live on Facebook or YouTube. You can get the link to this week’s article and check out our discussion questions by visiting http://www.straightforequality.org/something-to-talk-about-live-may-7-2020. | | | | Remember: We're here to help.
