43 days until Election Day. Here’s an update from the campaign trail:

Request Your Absentee Ballot

Voters in Wisconsin can now request an absentee ballot for the November election.

You can request an absentee ballot for any reason. If you aren’t sure that you’ll be able to vote on Election Day, make a plan to vote early.

The last day for voters to request an absentee ballot, is October 31 at 5:00 pm.

Your clerk must receive your absentee ballot by November 5 at 8:00 pm, which is when polls close in Wisconsin.

The U.S. Postal Service recommends mailing back your absentee ballot at least a week before Election Day, October 29, so it gets to your clerk in time.

Knocking Doors in Beloit

I spent my Saturday knocking doors in Beloit and bringing our message directly to voters. It was great to see so much support!

We had a great team out with us on doors. And we headed over to Tilley’s Pizza House for lunch after we finished knocking doors!

Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Janesville

I also joined the Alzheimer’s Association at the Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Janesville this weekend.

Alzheimer’s affects over 120,000 people in Wisconsin. And it was inspiring to see so many people come together in hopes for a cure.

Joining the Crew of the USS Beloit

I enjoyed spending time with the crew of the USS Beloit this weekend.

The USS Beloit has a crew of about 65, but that will grow to about 80 before the ship is placed into service.

The commissioning ceremony for the USS Beloit will take place this fall, which is when the ship will be formally placed into service. I’m thankful for the service of all the crew members.

And I’m thankful for the efforts of the crew to connect with the Beloit community.

On Wisconsin,

Bryan Steil
