Apples are an iconic part of fall, but 80% of apples contain diphenylamine, an EU-banned pesticide linked to cancer, putting apples in 8th place on EWG's Dirty Dozen list.

Although fresh produce is always best, many parents turn to dried fruit and fruit leathers for easy after-school snacks for kids. But EWG’s test results show dried fruit snacks contain worrying levels of pesticides. See the results here.
