Good news: Our campaign has more individual donations, by far, than our Republican opponent at this point in the race. We are funded largely by the support of people like you and I am very proud of that fact.
Bad news: the pace of our donations has slowed down considerably. That's not great. Because while we may have more donations than our opponent, they rely on outside spending and slowing down means we can't keep up.
That is why I am asking you to make a contribution to my campaign for Senate today. Help us reach our FEC fundraising goals before our September 30th deadline.

Look at this chart — it is very real, and very transparent:
DONATE: [link removed]
Blue is money raised, the purple line is number of donations. The green bar is recurring donations.
We need to drag those bars and that line up, not down. If we don't we could be in serious jeopardy.
I've said it before, our goals are not arbitrary. They are what we need to reach to win. And there is no reaching them without the support of people like you. So please:
Use this link to contribute to my campaign for Senate in Michigan. There is no two ways about it: we need to reach our fundraising goals to win this race.
