Job Announcement - Program Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to become the Program Coordinator at the Office of Deaf and Hard of Hearing [ [link removed] ] (ODHH) within the Aging and Long-Term Support Administration [ [link removed] ] (ALTSA). This is a temporary position that will be continued until December 2025.

ODHH is implementing a special interest workgroup to address the state’s sign language interpreter shortage. Due to the different layers of complexity for the interpreter shortage, this group is focused on identifying solutions within the private sector and the public sector partners. The solutions identified during the workgroup study will be used to share information with the public on what can be implemented with funding.

In this role, you will work closely with the Office of Deaf and Hard of Hearing, the Deaf/Deafblind/Hard of hearing community, sign language interpreters, and contracted project managers. You will be responsible for the logistical operations and support ODHH staff in leading the workgroup. Your role involves coordinating meetings, verifying travel accommodations, confirming appropriate sign language interpreters when necessary, sending reminders to group participants, and monitoring program activities. The ideal applicant will work closely with the project manager to ensure program goals are met effectively and efficiently.
