The border crisis is more than just a political talking point.

‌

Washington’s failure to act is causing real harm. During Biden’s administration, Border Patrol agents have been stretched to their limits, and their mental health has deteriorated. We need serious reforms, not just for the safety of our country, but for the dignity and protection of those suffering on both sides of the border.

‌

It’s also a human rights disaster that affects every one of us. Migrants are exploited by cartels, often left for dead, while overworked Border Patrol agents struggle to manage an impossible situation.

‌

It’s time for Washington to stop turning a blind eye.
