Tomorrow we are participating in Giving Tuesday -- a day of Global Action in Response to COVID-19.

At the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence (CSGV) and Educational Fund to Stop Gun Violence (Ed Fund), we know that our country is suffering greatly from the public health emergency that is COVID-19. In the midst of this pandemic, we also know that gun violence remains its own public health crisis -- and one that intersects significantly with COVID-19.

These crises overlap in a way that is deadly! As we monitor the effects of COVID-19, our team is placing an even greater emphasis on preventing firearm suicide and disarming domestic abusers. We are also focusing our efforts around communities that are disproportionately impacted by gun violence and COVID-19 due to health inequities and under-resourced public services.
