New reports out of Texas are showing the terrifying, enraging, and heartbreaking impact of the state’s radical right-wing abortion ban – an agenda that the GOP is desperately seeking to take nationwide.

- Between 2019 and 2022, the rate of maternal deaths in Texas rose a whopping 56%, with all the data showing Texas’s abortion ban as the cause.
- Texas’s ban is also linked to a 13% increase in infant mortality.
- Texas isn’t alone: Millions of women and pregnant people live in states with abortion bans or restrictions on reproductive health care.
