I made a difficult decision this week as Tammy’s campaign manager, and I thought you should know about it.

Our right-wing opponent has been surging in the polls, to the point where four different pollsters have shown Hovde and Tammy in a statistical tie. It’s all because Hovde and his Republican allies have spent upwards of $48 million to flood the airwaves with nasty, misleading ads attacking Tammy.

Hovde left us no choice but to fight back. So after a lot of discussion with Tammy and the rest of the team, we signed off on a new round of ads to fight back against these brutal attacks and set the record straight.

This was a tough call because there’s one problem — we don’t currently have the money for new ad reservations in our campaign budget.

I know — this is a big risk.

But it’s a gamble we had to make in order to make sure these Republican attacks don’t go unanswered. Anything less, and Hovde would continue to inch ahead in this toss up race.

Now, we’re counting on this incredible grassroots team to help us make up the deficit in our budget so we can keep these ads on the air.
