Friend, if you’ve got young kids or grandkids, you know affordable child care is tough to find these days.

Putting two kids in daycare costs 25% more than typical rent in the U.S, according to CNN. If we don’t have family or friends to watch our kids for free, how are we supposed to pay that hefty bill?

At this rate, the price of daycare can cost more than our actual paycheck. So how can we afford to go to work? It’s leaving us with no other option but skipping work shifts or quitting altogether. That’s bad for us and for the economy!

The good news is, across the country, Working America members are speaking out: We’re calling on elected officials to lower the cost of care, while also helping the hard-working employees at child care centers get paid what they're worth.

So, if you’re ticked off about child care like we are, will you sign our petition now? Together we can make a difference!

In solidarity,
