John,
We wish we could stop talking about this guy, but he continuously spews hate-filled rhetoric about immigrants, their families, and their communities.
JD Vance, in the fallout from the debate, has not only spread baseless conspiracy theories about Haitians eating animals (??), but also believes that immigration is bad for economic prosperity.
Um, what??
In a nation that was not only founded by immigrants, but where an estimated 1 in 5 workers is an immigrant, he really doesn’t know how to read the room. Immigrants are the backbone of this country. Always have been, always will be.
Vance’s theories and claims are on the ballot this November and, surprisingly, it’s going to be close. We need to ensure that the hardworking families that come to this country are protected and have the same rights and opportunities that we do.
Why is this important now? 93% of DACA recipients are Hispanic.
It shouldn’t be up for debate why this is important, but especially during Hispanic Heritage Month, we need YOU to urge Congress to provide PERMANENT immigration protections for DACA recipients and their families: [link removed]
