John, I want you to see this: Vox: "Harris is swimming in cash — but Democrats may still have a fundraising problem""Democratic donors are underinvesting in state legislative races, where money goes a lot further"For the first half of this year, Democrats were outraised nearly 2:1 in state legislative races. We’re running out of time to turn the tide — and you're on this team because you understand how high the stakes are. Another point from that Vox story: "Small elections can have big consequences" So much of the policy that affects our daily lives is decided at the state level — not in Congress or the White House. Voting rights. Reproductive freedom. Protections for the LGBTQ+ community. The list goes on… Here’s another thing: Control of state legislatures can often be decided by a few hundred votes. Just look at states like Minnesota, Michigan, and Pennsylvania that have razor-thin margins in their state legislatures. The State House and Senate races that ultimately decide control are *always* close — they could even be decided by drawing names out of a bowl, like in Virginia just a few years ago. That means everything we do in state legislative races can affect the outcome — and many of those elections this year will decide whether or not maps are fair. Can you rush a donation to the NDR PAC to help make a difference in these races right now?
Thanks,
