Friend — first things first, I just looooove my mom, Debbie. I know she will be the BEST senator for Florida. Way better than Rick Scott. Yuck.

But today, the spotlight is on ME. It's National Dogs in Pawlitics Day! 

That's right, us dogs have not only served as best friends, but also as counselors and consolers to some of the most renowned leaders in politics. Who could forget President Franklin Roosevelt's faithful Scottish Terrier, Fala? Or those happy Portuguese Water Dogs, Bo and Sunny Obama? 

(You know the only president since Andrew Johnson to have NO dogs, or not even a pet? Yep, Donald Trump. Woof. Seems suspicious.)

When my mom is in the Senate, I hope she'll let me visit her on Capitol Hill and see all the sights in Washington. I know that, once she's in office, she'll work her tail off fighting to protect our environment, create more affordable housing, and restore reproductive freedom. 

Now, since this is my special day and all, I have to make a request of you. Mom is up against tens of millions of dollars in attacks from her opponent, Rick Scott, just as a brand-new poll shows her just 1 point behind! I know she can pull ahead and win, but ONLY with a grassroots donation from you!!!
