Farm Sanctuary’s Giving Day match deadline is fast approaching—as is your special opportunity to double your impact on the lives of animals like Liz and Cashew!
Liz and Cashew came to Farm Sanctuary in 2016 when a small, family-run dairy farm could no longer provide adequate care for them.
Thankfully, their guardians desperately wanted to avoid sending their animals to slaughter and reached out to the sanctuary community for help. With your support, we welcomed Liz and her four-day-old calf, Cashew, to our New York sanctuary.
Once at Farm Sanctuary, Liz and Cashew received medical treatment for various conditions including mastitis, pneumonia, and an umbilical infection—common conditions for dairy cows from both large and small farms. Today, they are safe and healthy as cherished members of our family.
