As summer ends and fall arrives, we're invited to reset. The equinox calls us to re-evaluate our commitments, reassess our priorities and return to balance. It is a moment when day and night become equal inviting us to pause and pivot towards a rhythm of restoration.
For many of us, this means surrendering to the natural impulse to slow down, pull back and listen deeply for what is ready to change. Honoring this cycle - that things are ending and beginning at the same time - is essential to healing towards wholeness.
This time can be particularly difficult in a society that values functioning and productivity above all else. Our practice is to challenge those conditioned tendencies and learn to trust the silence and slowness of this season when darkness descends upon us and invites us to go inward. Cultivating the courage to trust yourself, to let things end and release whatever is not meant for you is to open up to the possibility and potential that lies beyond whatever we think we know. It is to honor the shadow self, integrating the lessons learned and preparing ourselves for the work ahead.
May you give yourself permission to retreat and restore yourself back to wholeness. (invitations below)
