Companies and Universities across the U.S. are caving to conservative pressure and quietly shutting down their Diversity, Equity and Inclusion programs (DEI programs).
These programs focus on creating a just and equitable workplace for racial and ethnic minorities, the LGBTQ+ community, women, and others who have historically faced discrimination in the workplace. After facing backlash from conservative groups, many companies and universities have minimized or removed DEI programs.
We need to urge companies to stand strong in the face of these attacks.
