john — I was alarmed when I saw this headline the other day:

AP: Election officials warn that widespread problems with the US mail system could disrupt voting

For months , I’ve called on Postmaster General Louis DeJoy to improve services.

Now, with less than 50 days until the election, I’m continuing to hold DeJoy accountable so voters can confidently vote by mail and know their ballot will be received in time!

We deserve better from the Postal Service, and I’m calling on Louis DeJoy to improve services ahead of the busy election season — or to resign if he’s not up to the task. If you’re with me, add your name to my petition today. [[link removed]]

From delayed mail service to overworked mail carriers in Minnesota, I am deeply concerned about the state of the USPS under Louis DeJoy — and I’ve repeatedly called on him to answer for these concerns.

Postal workers are bearing a massive burden — long hours, ever-increasing package deliveries, and so much more. They deserve better, too.

Millions of Americans rely on mail-in ballots to participate in our democracy. While Postmaster DeJoy claims to be ready for the election, I’m focused on holding him accountable.

The USPS is an American institution, and I’m not going to let Trump-appointed Louis DeJoy run it into the ground — especially before the most consequential election of our lifetimes.

If you support my efforts to improve the USPS — for its employees and for the millions of Americans who count on its services — add your name to my petition today. [[link removed]]
