It's Col. Mike Waltz, first Green Beret in Congress.

Admitting weakness is difficult for me. It's not my instinct.

I've been through very difficult circumstances, leading men through very dangerous conditions as a Green Beret during tours in Afghanistan, the Middle East and Africa. Failure was never an option, and neither was showing weakness to my team.

But today, I need to ask for help. I have just been through a primary election campaign in my Florida district, and the cash reserves for my general election campaign are in a weak position.

I've been working on rebuilding my warchest for the general election, but we're already within 7 weeks of Election Day, and I'm not where I need to be.

In Afghanistan during the war, we were on a mission to defeat an idea - an ideology that promoted extremism and hate toward Western culture.

In America today, we're in the middle of an ideological battle between radical liberalism and putting America First - between America over the leftist extreme agenda.

I refuse to show weakness in my mission to defend and promote capitalism over socialism in the halls of Congress. But I need your help to stay here.
