John,

It is nearly impossible to focus on anything beyond the current pandemic that is impacting so many of us—but we must.

Because unfortunately, while the nation’s attention is focused on the health crisis, legislators are advancing their hate-filled agendas and erasing the rights and dignity of LGBTQ students.

This hostility in government is not new, but this is a new low.

John, join GLSEN in standing up to these political attacks against LGBTQ youth. [[link removed]]

For the last 30 years, GLSEN has fought and gained ground against damaging and discriminatory laws. We are all tired but we must continue our commitment to the millions of LGBTQ students at the core of our mission.

John, join GLSEN with a commitment of support for 8 million K-12 LGBTQ students. [[link removed]]

In the last few weeks, GLSEN has been fully harnessing the digital world to reach students and educators—with newly accessible resources for those living in rural or conservative states. Our advocacy team is rallying GLSEN’s over one million supporters to combat discriminatory laws.

In the next few months we will continue to innovate and stretch our resources to ensure that LGBTQ students are not forgotten. To remind them that there are more of us on their side, fighting for the world and the future that belongs to them.

Tomorrow marks the first-ever Giving Tuesday Now celebration: a day of generosity and healing; a mobilizing movement on behalf of those who need us now more than ever; a shared moment of strength, healing, and unity.

John, join this global movement of giving back with a special gift to GLSEN today. [[link removed]]

Together we are fighting for our youth—and defending them against hostile attacks during this crisis and well beyond.

Thank you for all you do,
GLSEN

PS: Will you help us send some well-deserved praise and love to the educators who are making a real difference in the lives of LGBTQ students? Add your name to our card thanking fearless educators for their work to create safe, inclusive spaces for all students. [link removed] [[link removed]]
